Data from Underaged

Oikonomia does not intentionally collect (nor can it distinguish) data from minors under the age of 16. However, if any information has indivertibly been collected from minors, Oikonomia will immediately delete it.

Use of collected data

Oikonomia uses the data collected for the following purposes:

  • Availability of your services to the reader/customer;
  • Provision of support to the reader/client;
  • Compliance with contractual and legal obligations;
  • Providing information and content of interest to the reader/customer;

Oikonomia transmits the data of its readers/customers to its service providers, which are external companies for assistance and support in their business, as strictly as possible, and they are obliged to comply with the rules and regulations of protection of personal data.

Oikonomia is not responsible for the content accessed through any link that leads the reader to navigate outside the domains where such links are the responsibility of third parties.

The collected data are processed for the period strictly necessary for the specific purpose of each one.

The identification data of registered readers/customers and list of saved reading articles is saved while maintaining their relationship with the reader/customer. So, they will remain until the reader/customer deletes their registration with Oikonomia or requests their deletion/cancellation of their subscription.

For the purposes of commercial transactions and compliance with legal billing obligations, the data shall be retained for the period legally provided for compliance with legal obligations, as well as for the challenge of legal situations and during the period that they remain.

Oikonomia is not responsible for the content of readers/customers’ comments, so any personal data that is disclosed by any reader/customer in this context will be promptly deleted at the time oikonomia is notified of the disclosure of such data.
